The temple of Concordia is a Greek temple and was built by Greek settlers, located on the Grigenti hill in the classical era, between 430 BC and 450 a.C. in an area known as the Valley of the Temples where together with the temple in question there are the military Acropolis, the temple of Hera Lacinia, the temple of the Dioscuri and Castore and Polluce.

The Doric temple of concord was also invested with the decadence that involved all the other buildings in the valley (to a greater extent the temple of Olympian Zeus) in the long course of history until today, the only episode that is remembered is its transformation from the Greek temple to the basilica of Saints Peter and Paul towards the end of the VI century AD the fall of the Roman empire during the Byzantine era.
